Places are continuously evolving and many things are 'lost' along the way. Some things 'make it through' physically, others as memories, stories place-names etc. Traces of Place seeks to:
- Collect what it is that people value about the area.
- Focus and make tangible these things - as words, poems, drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, songs. . .
- Share these on an online Community Map; a gift for future residents and a tool for planners and developers.
- Make physical maps that celebrate the locality.
