Traces of Place is a project to map, preserve and share memories of north-west Preston, an area that is undergoing rapid change. I am interested in the powerful role maps can play in keeping elements of a place alive and how memories can be preserved and passed on, in such things as place names, stories, poems, songs and drawings.
